We guarantee the necessary assistance for disabled passengers at airports and on board our aircrafts. We recommend contacting our Call Center offices to determine the exact scope of the services and facilities offered by our partners.
In need of a wheelchair or any other assistance to transit the airport, we suggest notifying us about it at the time of purchase of the ticket, by contacting Call Center or directly at the airport.
If you plan on traveling with your own wheelchair or with a device to help you move, we suggest taking into account the following considerations:
A wheelchair may be carried additionally to the baggage allowance, without charge. It only applies to passengers with the disabled condition required for its use.
It can be documented on the counter or at the gate for registration.
According to national and international standards, wheelchairs with spillable batteries are not permitted for air carriage as checked baggage, therefore TAR can only carry those without spillable batteries.
We offer free care for passengers with special needs, and we recommend requesting the assistance in advance in order to obtain a better service.
Our ground staff will be happy to assist you throughout the process, specifically in the areas of documentation, waiting rooms, on board the aircraft and luggage bands.
