Electronic registration through which a Star Pass Partner accumulates the average rate of 10 flights under the terms and conditions of the Star Pass program.
Physical or electronic document through which the Star Pass Partner accredits the assignment of accumulative values under the terms of the Star Pass program.
Company incorporated under Mexican law, with a license granted by the Mexican Federal Government through the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (“SCT”) for the provision of air transportation of passengers, cargo and mail public services.
Program of benefits offered by Carrier’s air transport service for its customers.
Individual acquiring air transport services provided by Carrier, meeting requirements to apply to the Star Pass program by obtaining satisfactory registration on Carrier website.
Commercial name of concessionaire whose reference in this document will be understood at all times as referred to Link Conexión Aérea, S.A. de C.V. or “Carrier”.
First.. Registration to Star Pass will be available to anyone over two years of age, who has a domicile in Mexico and in those countries where this type of Program is not prohibited, according to the following conditions.
In the case of minors or handicapped persons, registration to the Star Pass program must be carried out through persons who, according to the applicable legislation in Mexico, exercise parental authority or guardianship over them, so that they will be the only persons authorized and responsible to represent them in their capacity as Star Pass Partners for each and every one of the procedures that may arise in that capacity. The staff of Carrier or their representatives may request, at any time the persons exercising parental authority or guardianship over a Star Pass Partner, to fully accredit such character so that any management carried out by said persons shall be understood to be made under oath and assume totally and absolutely any responsibility derived from such acts, so they expressly release Carrier of any responsibility in this regard, holding it harmless on any controversy arising from such circumstances.
Second.. By the act of registering in the Star Pass program, Star Pass Members are subject to and obligated to comply with the current Star Pass terms, regulations, conditions and policies, which are included herein or in future versions as issued by Carrier.
Third.. Carrier reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend any Star Pass Customer, either due to breach of the Program’s Terms and Conditions or in accordance with its own interests. It will be sufficient for this notification to be given by written to the Star Pass Partner 20 calendar days in advance. The temporary suspension will result in the disqualification of such Star Pass Account during such a term, so that the Star Pass Partner cannot: (i) credit Points to his/her Star Pass Account, redeem Points credited to his/her Star Pass Account, and (ii) suspend all Benefits in his/her Star Pass status. Definitive withdrawal has as a consequence the cancellation of the Star Pass Account, Accredited Points and all the Benefits in its capacity as Star Pass Partner.
Fourth.. Only the Star Pass Partner will have access to his/her Star Pass Account. For this purpose, a Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be assigned, which is confidential and non-transferable and whose use is the responsibility of the Star Pass Partner.
Fifth. It is the responsibility of the Star Pass Partner to notify any change of address, telephone number and/or email to Star Pass; which must be notified to the Carrier’s Call Center via phone or email to firstname.lastname@example.org, While the Star Pass Partner does not give notice of such changes, as stated above, communications made in accordance with data registered will be fully valid.
Sixth. . Carrier reserves the right to modify or suspend, temporarily or permanently, one or all of the bases of the Program, including its promotions and benefits without prior notice.
Seventh.. Carrier will be the only one empowered and authorized to resolve all matters concerning Star Pass, reserving the right to apply and interpret these Terms and Conditions and their scope, as well as to resolve to its full and free will any other situation.
