EIn the framework of the launch of the National Tourism Certification System (SNCT) of the Tourism Secretariat (Sectur), the regional airline Regional Air Transport (TAR) was awarded the National Tourism Quality Distinct, Platinum level.
During the ceremony, the Undersecretary of Quality and Regulation of the SECTUR, Salvador Sanchez, pointed out that the worldwide tourist activity registers a sustained growth and that, in Mexico, it continues to be one of the most important economic development tasks.
Similarly, he stressed that one of the objectives of the SNCT is "to obtain added value to all the experiences and interactions of travelers during a pleasant visit, guaranteeing their return and the attraction of new markets".
For his part, the Tourism Secretary, Enrique de la Madrid, stressed that the tourism activity in the country is experiencing one of its best moments thanks to the efforts of all members of the sector, and said that the badge will encourage other service providers to strive to make tourism a world-class product.
TAR Airlines: experienced youth
TAR Airlines is the youngest airline in Mexico and the only one to be awarded the badge in the "Air Transport" category. To achieve this merit, TAR complied with the legal and regulatory framework to register in the national tourism registry. In addition, it was evaluated in 12 factors and 34 sub factors divided into different areas and fulfilled the more than 100 process requirements for continuous improvement.
In this way, TAR Airlines stands out for its high competitiveness and its commitment to the dynamism and quality that the tourism sector currently demands.
