The head of SECTURE, Óscar Escobedo Carignan, assured that the growth of tourism in Mexicali is a success, especially in the area of business and health tourism, which is strengthened by air connectivity, "I would like to reiterate that correct when choosing Mexicali for this new route; this year we project that the entity will exceed the barrier of 8 million passengers for the 3 airports, which speaks of the great interest there is to visit Baja California. "
With only three and a half years of operations, a fleet of 10 Embraer ERJ145 jets of 50 seats, TAR is the first one hundred percent Mexican airline committed to the development of the regional aviation of the country, making the city of Mexicali its destination number 26, place that they consider is the ideal to continue growing, said the General Director of TAR, Rodrigo Vázquez Colmenares.
The Mexicali-Hermosillo-Culiacán-Chihuahua route will have 5 weekly frequencies: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and rates from 1,796 pesos, in a single trip, with taxes included and services on board "full service". The flight to Hermosillo will last 1 hour and 3 minutes, continuing to Culiacán and Chihuahua.
